Product Description

Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate (SMCT for short) is a kind of amino acid surfactant. It is a milky white viscous paste at room temperature. The PH value of 1% aqueous solution is 6.5 ~ 9.0. 38%, is a milder surfactant than SLS, less irritating to the skin, and has good cleaning power, for facial cleanser products, can be used safely, suitable for preparation of various high-grade shampoo, facial cleanser and bath agent and other cosmetics, especially suitable for baby products, giving hair, skin gentle, moisturizing and smooth feeling. It can also be used as refining agent and cleaning agent in wool spinning and silk printing and dyeing industry.
